Explore the 28th District
Set in the rolling hills of west central and southwest Missouri, the counties of Barton, Benton, Cedar, Dallas, Henry, Pettis, Polk, and St.Clair make up the newly created 28th Senate District. Some of the larger cities in this new district include Bolivar, Clinton, Lamar, Sedalia, and Warsaw.
The District covers most of the Osage Lakes region, including Truman Lake, Stockton Lake, Lake of the Ozarks, and Pomme de Terre Lake. It is also home to some of Missouri's finest educational institutions, including Southwest Baptist University, and State Fair Community College. Other notable landmarks in District 28 including President Harry S. Truman's Birthplace in Lamar, Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia, and Prairie State Park by Liberal.
In short, the 28th District is a great place to call home!
